If you are at the beginning of learning about rigging or a modeler who wants to learn what is important for a rigger, this tutorial is perfect for you.
This is the first tutorial of a series about Rigging 101. We are going to start with modeling because not a lot of content out there talk about modeling through the rigger's eye.
After a brief introduction about rigging we will talk about Topology, Mesh density, Bind pose, etc.
Total Duration: 28:40 m.
In this course, I go over the key rigging concepts. These are the concepts that a person must know in order to become a good rigger.
This is for anybody who has never rigged before or has some small knowledge of rigging but wants to start the right way.
Total Duration: 46:34 m.
This video series covers the main Editors I use as a rigger. I show my workflow explaining why I like certain editors more than others.
Total Duration: 111:13 m.
In this series of videos I go over how I create animation controls and explain why they are so important. I also cover how to properly create and edit Driven Keys , Expressions, Utility Nodes and simple direct connections.
I also talk about the difference between the basic constraint we have in Maya.
Driven Keys, Expressions, utility nodes and direct connections are the way you add control to the rig.

SOuP is a node based toolkit for Maya artists allowing greater flexibility and a powerful procedural workflow. In this tutorial I discuss the ability to animate UVs using Maya fluids. In fact any Maya deformer will give you the same power. With only 2 SOuP nodes we can create a simple pipeline that gives us access to UVs as vertex points. From here we can deform them directly or create soft bodies and affect them with fields and fluids.
Basic working knowledge of Maya. You will need Maya 2013 an the latest SOuP build from www.soup-dev.

Logo Font & Lettering Bible by Leslie Cabarga
#### Blurb ####
The book is mainly about how to draw letters in Illustrator
and Fontographer, how to turn those letters into logos and
fonts, and how to understand what makes a piece of lettering
or a font good or bad. It's got tons of examples of great work
from dozens of contributors and from many eras. There is also a
business section with advice on making sales, and finding and
working with clients.
Incredibly useful typographic tips & tricks, ironically contained in a infamously bad designed book. Hope you find it useful!
RailClone is a 3DS Max plugin for parametric modeling based on custom geometry parts, definable by the user, and a set of construction rules. This new concept of lets you to build complex and realistic structures for Architectural Visualization, Civil Engineering, Industrial and Interior Design.
Download RailClone Lite, the free version of the plugin and use it in your personal and commercial projects.

This program is specifically created for Technical Artists and Artists who want to become more technical and are willing to understand technical side of maya. In this video series we will start with very basic fundamental of Maya API and then we will move to the Beginners concepts like : like accessing and modifying the attributes of different type of objects in Maya which a Technical Artist uses in their tools almost on the daily basis and your tools are allot faster when you are using API instructions , then we will move towards learning about custom commands – using which we will create our own maya commands, iterators, deformers, callbacks, locators and during this we will also create different sets of tools eg. Custom locators sets for character rigs, Particle-Vfx custom command, API- IK-FK seamless switching etc.
